Adolescents have specific health needs and often fear to approach health services. That is why specialized youth-friendly health services (YFHS) have started to roll out in Uganda. YFHS are regulated under the ‘Ugandan Adolescent Health Policy’. This policy is currently under review as it lacks clear guidelines on how the services should be implemented.
