TRAC FM is working with Light for the World (LFTW) on an interactive radio campaign to raise awareness and assess the impact of the coronavirus disease pandemic on the livelihood of persons living with disabilities in Uganda.
In 2019, TRAC FM collaborated with the implementing partners of the Watershed programme in Rwenzori sub-region - HEWASA, Simavi and IRC to raise awareness about water, sanitation and hygiene and collect citizen feedback. This campaign was dubbed Wottazela 3.0. Wottazela 4.0 is a follow-up campaign to build our success in empowering citizens and deepen our learning.
TRAC FM's 5th Wottazela Campaign has landed in Kenya! We are looking at citizens perspectives on water provision in Kajiado County in Southern Kenya. Together with partners of the Watershed Programme – Simavi, NIA, KEWASNET, IRC and Akvo - we launched this campaign to understand what local citizens of the Maasai community have to say about Water.
Wottazela 3.0 ran under the Watershed programme in collaboration with HEWASA, Simavi, IRC and Radio Jubilee in Fort Portal, Uganda. The campaign aimed to retrieve citizen feedback in Kabarole District through radio shows and poll questions about the governance and management of water, sanitation and hygiene services as well as of the water resources in communities. This campaign gathered more evidence-based feedback which is needed for effective dialogue within the Watershed programme.
TRAC FM has partnered with the Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI), National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO) and International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) to run a radio campaign aimed at disseminating Information on good farming practices that support increased banana productivity.
