Background
The Uganda police crime report of 2013 is a compilation of
the different types of crime committed in all the districts in Uganda that were
recorded in the police books.
In Soroti district, a few stand out. In the year 2013, there
were 353 cases of assault, 186 sex related crimes and 116 cases of theft and
robbery.
