What do you think is the solution to reduce the practice of mothers dumping their babies?

BACKGROUND 

Two weeks ago, Radio Pacis run news about five different children who had been abandoned and dumped by their mothers away from home. In three separate occasions, the babies were found dead.  

In a poll question we run last week, we asked you, our listeners, why you think mothers dump their babies. We received 148 responses. 29 people said it is because the mothers do not have the money to look after them. 42 of you believe that these mothers abandon their babies because they don't have the money to look after them. And 77 listeners believe that it is because these mothers are abandoned by the fathers that the lack of spousal support causes them to abandon their children. 

In view of these answers, we would now like to ask you what you think is the best solution to solving this problem of babies being abandoned.
