BACKGROUND

On Saturday the 25th of October 2014, Gulu University celebrated its 10th graduation ceremony where a total of 1379 students were awarded varying degrees and certificates.

The Minister for Higher Education, Dr.John Muyingo, said at the ceremony that the major challenge facing universities in the country is that the courses are not relevant. But he commended Gulu University for providing critical skills to students of the region emerging from war.
