Is there any chance that this time round the Democratic Alliance will yield fruits to a peaceful transition?

Background
The idea by the opposition political parties under the umbrella of DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE is to front a single presidential candidate against the current incumbent His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Remember that the same idea was again floated by the opposition political parties under another umbrella called Interparty coalition spearheaded by the then UPC party president Ambassador Dr. Olara Otunu as the country drew closer to the 2011 general elections which then saw Uganda failing to yield positive fruitful results in the transition struggle. Now, bear in mind that majority of the Ugandan political parties like UPC, DP, and FDC among others, are faced with challenges of internal wrangles that are most likely going to strain this union and in turn the chances of getting a sealed vote to an agreed upon candidate.
