Background
Measles is the most deadly of all
childhood rash/fever illnesses. The disease spreads very easily, so it is
important to protect against infection. To prevent measles, children (and some
adults) should be vaccinated with the measles,) vaccine. Three months ago there
was an outbreak of Measles in the districts of western Uganda and the
government of Uganda declared 3 days, from (3rd- 5th October), for all the Children from 6 months- 5 years to be immunized against
Measles.
