CBS | CEHURD 0.1: In your opinion, what is the most appropriate source of information on sexuality for young people?

Background

In 2016, the Ministry of Gender announced that the government had banned sexuality education in Uganda. Access to Sexuality Education is largely through peers, relatives and the media.

Many parents do not feel comfortable to discuss Sexual and Reproductive Health issues with their adolescent children because it is culturally a taboo to discuss such issues openly with young people. Sexuality education helps young people to learn how to prevent HIV and unwanted pregnancies.
