What should the government do to ensure food security in Somaliland?

Although Somaliland is mostly dry, the western region of Awdal, Gabiley and parts of Sanaag often receive enough rainfall annually to do irrigation. Despite many promises, the government has failed to tap in to the region’s agriculture potential. Most of Somaliland’s food is therefore imported.

A. Make importing of food easier
B. Invest in irrigation schemes in all parts of Somaliland 
C. Promote access to improved seed varieties 
D. Improve skills of local farmers
