SIMBA | CEHURD 0.4: Where do you report when you are denied access to health services?

Background

Patients are being denied health care services. While some of this denial is indirect, some patients are denied services when they go to health facilities. Some health workers are rude, discriminative and not sensitive to the needs of the patients. For instance, people who are perceived to have mental illnesses and people living with HIV are often denied services. Young people and adolescents are denied sexual and reproductive health care services. This not only drives patients away from health facilities, it also violates their right to health.
