Background
In many parts of Uganda, the soils have been overused thus losing most of the nutrients and as a result, production is of poor quality with small matooke bunches that can only attract low economic benefits. Bananas can produce good yields if well fed and managed. Feeding of the bananas can be done in different ways including the use of organic manure obtained from animal waste and crop residues.
