WEST NARO 1.5 | What do you do to control pests and diseases in your banana plantation?

Background

If not controlled, pests and disease can wipe out an entire banana plantation. The most common types of banana pests and disease include: banana bacterial wilt (Kajunde in Runyankole), banana weevils commonly known as Kayovu which attack the crop roots, Snails, Wild ants (commonly known as Kaasa) and many others. All these lead to low banana yields and if not well managed, they can wipe out your matooke plantation completely.
