PAKWACH | As a parent, have your children been listening to study lessons on radio during the lockdown?

Background

The government of Uganda announced a lockdown in order to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. During this time, people have been advised to stay at home; no public gatherings are allowed. Churches, schools, non-food shops and bars are also to remain closed until further notice from the government.

The Ministry of Education and Sports in conjunction with SESIL is working with Districts and Municipalities to support homeschooling through radio for P1 to P3 during this time.

Question:
As a parent, have your children been listening to study lessons on radio during the lockdown?

A. Yes, they have been listening with my help
B. No, we do not have time
C. I am not aware of lessons on radio
