CONTINENTAL CM2 3.8 | What is the best way to ensure justice for survivors of sexual violence and children born of war?

Background

Sexual violence against women and girls during times of conflict causes long-term physical, psychological, social, and economic effects on women and girls. Women who survived sexual violence and children born as a result of rape or forced marriage during war are often stigmatized, rejected by their families, denied a cultural identity and basic human rights without access to justice.

Question:
What missing course of action is key to ensure justice for survivors of sexual violence and their children born of war?

A: Government should apologise and support children born of captivity
B:
Fathers of children born of war to apologise and care for them
C: Survivors’ families and communities to apologise and set aside land for their children
