Do you think the government should buy iPads for the Members of Parliament?

BACKGROUND:
An iPad is a tablet computer designed by Apple.

MPs will get the latest version of iPads to reduce the cost of stationery and embracing e-governance. Through iPads, administration could be streamlined. And iPad costs roughly Shs 2.8 M. With 375 members of parliament, this will cost the Government about sh1.4b.

Some Ugandans say that since every MP earns Shs 20M a month, they should buy their own iPads instead of using taxpayers money - especially now that many donors are stopping or cutting funding to Uganda government over misuse of donor funds.
