BACKGROUND
Key European donors; Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Britain have suspended aid following the Office of the Prime Minister(OPM) scandal, with over Shs 50 billion is unaccounted for.
Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi was quoted by British media as admitting that the donor-funded projects would suffer because of the aid cuts.

Gulu LC 5 Chairperson Ojara Mapenduzi in his appeal to the donors said “Donors should not stop helping the people affected by war, this will double tragedy...” (Observer 18th November 2012) and President Museveni in his recent address to the donors said the fight against these thieves is going on well.Give me your support.(New Vision and Monitor 20th November 2012)
