BACKGROUND:
Poaching is the illegal hunting or catching of game (animals) or fish on land that is not one's own, or in places under official protection such as the National Parks.

In Kasese we have a good number of National Parks and Uganda Wildlife Authority has put laws in place to ensure that no one hunts on land reserved for the wild animals.

However, the rate of poaching is still alarming in Kasese.
