Sometimes however, rules may contradict. For example, things like punishing children physically is encouraged in some religions, but is discouraged by human rights.

Having more than one wife is encouraged by our traditions but discouraged by some religions. Women inheriting land is encouraged by human rights but not common in traditional culture. Today, we're asking you to share what guides your decisions most in your daily life. Is it the laws of our country, God’s teachings, or our Ugandan traditions?
