Welcome to the VOICES project by TRAC FM and HEPS! More than 17 million Ugandans don’t have National IDs. Those who have an old National ID should know that it expires in June 2024 - this month! This is why the government through NIRA is conducting a Mass Renewal Exercise. This will allow all Ugandans to get new ID cards. Taking part in the Mass Renewal is important because National ID is needed for services like health, education, banking, and benefits of Parish Development Model.
