Did Uganda Police do the right thing to arrest the pathologist contracted by parliament to investigate Hon. Nebanda’s death?

BACKGROUND:
The sudden death of Hon. Cerinah Nebanda the MP for Butaleja has raised a lot of dust in the parliament. Investigations are currently ongoing to establish the cause of her death.

Police discovered that certain samples from the body of the deceased had been irregularly obtained by individuals not involved in the Police investigation, and without knowledge of the Police.

According to Daily Monitor reports: Dr. Sylvester Onzivua wrote to the Director of CID, informing the CID that he had been hired by Parliament to carry out parallel forensic investigations and asked for the Director's advice.

Dr Onzivua was arrested at Entebbe airport on Tuesday after he was found “smuggling body parts of the deceased” according to the Uganda Police. The Uganda Police says that an order had been issued that all forensic procedures be consolidated under Government Analytical Laboratory, and that Dr. Onzivua would submit the samples in his possession to the stipulated procedures..
