Who is responsible for the supply of enough safe drinking water to the residents of Katodoba cell in Kasese Municipality?

BACKGROUND:
Over one thousand households in Katodoba cell, Nyakabingo ward in Kasese Municipality are lining up around one water tap to fetch for domestic consumption. These people are settling on a disputed land between the management of Kilembe Mines Limited and one family that claims ownership.
When the issue of service delivery like water is raised, it is not easy to get someone to help among the top leadership in Kasese Municipality to render the required support.
The residents have started threatening to vote against the sitting government in the 2016 general elections if they do not receive water by then.
Therefore, the road towards getting safe drinking water for the people of Katodoba is far from the reality because the community looks not ready to raise funds amongst themselves to run the service.
