BACKGROUND:
The RDC Kyenjojo has had a lot of cases reported to his
office in relation to land conflicts. This has been attributed to limited
information on land rights, land tenure systems in Uganda and the various issues
surrounding land ownership and occupancy, procedures of acquiring land title,
selling/buying land etc.
It’s against this background the office of the RDC and Lands
Kyenjojo requested for a radio program from RIDE Africa to sensitize the
communities on some of the issues surrounding land.
