What is your recommendation to Makerere University and government of Uganda?

BACKGROUND:
Makerere University was closed indefinately last week. The closure of Uganda's top university followed a sit down strike by lecturers as they demanded a 100% Salary raise. The lecturers are saying that the University makes a lot of money and yet they are paid too little.

Makerere University is currently ranked 4th among the best universities in Africa. A recent research shows that the lecturers at Makerere are among the most UNDER PAID in Africa Universities.

President Museveni said lecturers who do not want to go back to work can go and rare goats. Museveni stressed the need of focusing on key issues which were considered in the financial year budget not salary increaments.
