Which of the following do you think is the major reason why Teso region is suffering a food shortage?

BACKGROUND:

For two decades now, Teso has continued to wallow in perpetual food shortage where most households in the region can hardly afford a meal a day.

Dry meat in a blend of groundnut paste soup and cow peas boiled to taste with some ghee in a mash comprised much of the past delicacies but this is no more.

Although the sub-region could have enjoyed abundance of crop harvests then, this situation has since changed with many families now surviving on just a meal in a day.
Over 30,000 families across the region are reported to be surviving on the bare minimum as the issue of famine in Teso becomes a recurring phenomenon.  ----- Daily Monitor Report shows:
