Which of the following do you think should be priority to improve delivery of public services in Kyenjojo district?

BACKGROUND:

Despite the routine government budget allocations towards the improvement of service delivery in the community, service delivery has in most parts of the country continued to deteriorate while in some it has remained static and in some, improvement has been registered. It is also important to note however that this varies from sector to sector.

Nevertheless several factors have been advanced to explain this; they include limited involvement of the community in the planning, implementation and monitoring of service delivery, withholding of information about public services from the community, lack of interest in the service delivery issues by the community members and of course corruption and misuse of funds, power and office by the duty bearers. Although several CSOs and development partners have come in to fill in these gaps and also empower the community to demand for their entitlements little progress is being registered in the improvement of service delivery.
