How many Ugandan children are not in school?

Over the years, more and more Ugandan children are going to school. More and more girls are enrolling as well, and the introduction of the Universal Primary Education scheme in 2007 had given more children access to education than ever before. But there are still some who are being left behind.
Masindi based radio station, King's Broadcasting Services, wanted to know how many people in the immediate community personally knew a student of secondary school going age who was not attending school. They asked this question: "Do you have any siblings or cousins of school going age who are not going to school?"

Surprisingly, only 29 people responded with a 'No, I do not know anyone not in school who should be'. But 64 said Yes.

King's Broadcasting Services is using this data to ascertain the factors that are affecting secondary age students in Masindi.
