Amref Health Africa in Uganda, funded by the Netherlands Embassy, implements the 'Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights Programme in High Burden Districts of Uganda' (HEROES 4GTA). Launched in November 2020, the six-year initiative, led by Amref Health Africa in Uganda and partners Cordaid and MIFUMI, aims to enhance the well-being of young people (10-24) and women (15-49), including underserved groups in East Central districts (Kalangala, Bugiri, Mayuge, Iganga & Namayingo) and the East (Mbale, Budaka, Bukwo, and Kween).

The program focuses on empowering girls, boys, and women in SRHR and SGBV decision-making through education and information, aiming to improve their decision-making skills. Additionally, it addresses the low quality of SRHR and SGBV service provision by strengthening health systems, integrating services, and challenging gender norms and practices. Heroes 4GTA works on strengthening SGBV response systems and promoting access to justice across nine districts.

The No More Silence Campaign is an interactive radio project in collaboration with Trac FM aimed to support HEROS 4GTA programme with the following objectives;

1. Identify the key issues that promote teenage pregnancies and SGBV in Heroes Programme region.

2. Develop an evidence-based campaign plan on teenage pregnancies and SGBV in three regions of the Heroes Programme.

3. Create awareness of the risks of teenage pregnancy and SGBV

4. Promote risk reduction behaviours that contribute to increased exposure to teenage pregnancies and SGBV.

5. Promote SRHR and SGBV management service outlets in the programme area
